this is a flag start race, you will be directed to pull up, then gestured to stop at the line, the starter will point the flag at the driver in each lane to get the “ok are you ready?” Head nod, at that point the car can’t move until the flag is dropped. The starter will raise the flag and pause, could be a split second or several seconds, it’s up to you (the driver) to watch the flag and be sure you don’t move until the flag drop.
We will post a planned race day schedule soon, but plan on an early start to the day to beat the heat. during eliminations we will have a finish line judge to make the call on who won, if you win head down the return road and make the turn back into the staging lanes, if you lost take the return road back to the pits, but don’t worry if you want to get more racing in we always end up with an hour or so of time left after eliminations to do some more grudge racing.
after eliminations we will take the time to get all the winners cars together on the start line for trophies/prizes/photo opps.
