A little side project, this all began several years ago while on the hunt for one Brewster 16” cap to complete a set that our buddy jim lattin had originally made decades ago. Turns out the 3 I had were actually extras for the recreation of the Hilborn streamliner that was sitting in Jim’s collection. What I didn’t know was that Jim had the patterns to make them stashed in a garage at the back of his property, after discussing borrowing the patterns Jim eventually just said why don’t you just buy them? So at that point the 16” patterns were in our possession and we whipped up a few set just for ourselves. Quickly people started asking for them so we made some more, another year or so down the line I tossed together a model a that had 18” wires so figured might as well tool up and make some patterns to produce 17 & 18” as well along with also making some Lyons style.

So what we have available is 16, 17, and 18” Lyons and Brewster style caps, the 16” fit 1935 ford straight spoke wires as well as 40 spoke Kelsey Hayes wheels ( do not fit the 36 spoke budd wires) , 17” that fit straight spoke 1933/1934 for wheels and 18” that fit 1932 ford straight spoke wheels. They are made to be held in place with 3 screws that are covered once a stock center cap is installed. (Note: due to thickness of material the aluminum caps may require slight filing of the retainer clips on the center caps)
